Hello! My name is Aimee and I have been an NHS midwife since 2014. I love all the different aspects of my job, each shift is different, exciting and I never stop learning! I am also a qualified Hypnobirthing teacher. I currently live in Tilsworth with my partner and two little boys!
I am extremely passionate about ensuring that women and birthing people know their options and feel supported, no matter what their choices are for birth and beyond.
I am thrilled to be working with Sophie and The Village Midwife team to bring a community to our area, where people can gather information, meet others at the same stage of life as them and enjoy the magic and excitement of bringing new life into the world together!

The Village Midwife Group Antenatal Course: £295
The Village Midwife 1:1 Antenatal Course: £50/hour
When you book your space using the link below you just have to fill out your details and pay £118 now, £50 of which is your deposit. The rest is paid a week prior to the antenatal course starting or can be paid in instalments (email us to arrange this!)
Please note: We offer a £25 NHS discount for healthcare professionals, a £15 return discount for previous clients and a 35% single parent discount. We also offer discounts (via access to The Village Midwife Accessibility Fund) and payment plans to parents who are struggling financially - contact us for more information, no questions asked.
1:1 Antenatal Courses around Berkhamsted
Aimee also offers 1:1 antenatal courses in & around Berkhamsted which are usually at your home. These are fully personalised around what you need and you also get ongoing support by WhatsApp, as with all of our courses. You also get a full handout of information and a Village Midwife canvas bag.
The courses are usually around your schedule in sessions of 2-3 hours each, either during the daytime or the evening. These sessions are personalised around what you need in terms of preparation for birth and feeding plus parenting a new baby! You can either do a 3 hour ‘Refresher’ session, a 6 hour antenatal course that focuses on your birth options or a 9 hour antenatal course that covers birth and the postnatal period/feeding. Aimee also offers 1:1 feeding preparation sessions and ongoing support plus 2 hour postnatal/feeding support once you and baby are home. Email aimee@thevillagemidwife.co.uk for more information!
